Watering my plants these days I was imagining how our life would be if we were plants, then I realized that we are human plants, because we have so much alike or at least we should try to learn good lessons from them.
First, we all need water to survive, it is necessary to keep our body healthy and improve the appearance, among other benefits.
Second, in hostile environments the growing process can be jeopardised, humanly speaking it would be related to access to education, job opportunities, heavy atmosphere, restrictions...
As a seed when germinates starts small, but always focus on getting bigger and dreaming to become a leafy tree, we also have to be: dreamers fighting for ours desires, being patient and constant.
Weeds my appear during our life cycle, such as, diseases, lack of confidence and other factors which slow our progress, then, let's use medicines and eliminate what is damaging us.
Comparing to professional aspect, it is inspiring to watch how they grow: they don't make any alard, they evolve quietly, discretely, showing the achievements at the right time, not asking for attention, just doing what they are supposed to do to become what they mean to be, following its nature.
They don't depend on other plants, this is the most valuable lesson, their roots are based on the floor, off course they can live perfectly among others, but they are independent, only needing of soil: food, water and light - which I believe would be faith (God), because without faith the life gets harder and colourless.
Eventually, we will have bad days, with storms, hurricanes, drought, cold, leaving us broken, weak, devastated, however we can repeatedly start over again and sunny and shine days will come along the way.
In other words, behave like a plant; it may sound dumb, but there is so much more to learn from it than we can imagine.
As it is written in a famous song...: "And like a tree I can touch the sky, with my feet on the ground!".
